Ingredients

  • 300 g juice from the fruit
  • 150 g sugar
  • Juice from half a lemon

Instructions

Wash the passion fruits thoroughly and cut them in half.

Using a spoon, carefully scoop out the juice and pulp into a bowl. (Keep the outer shells—they can be used to make a dessert!)

Strain the pulp through a sieve to remove the seeds. Pour the strained juice into a pot.

Add the sugar and lemon juice to the pot, and bring it to a boil. Simmer over medium heat for 10–15 minutes from the point it begins boiling.

The syrup should remain fluid, perfect for drizzling over ice cream, pancakes, or any dish that could use a tropical twist.

This Passion Fruit Syrup is a vibrant and exotic treat, bursting with the tangy sweetness of tropical flavor. It’s an ideal addition to desserts, breakfasts, or even drinks, making every bite or sip a delightful escape to paradise. Enjoy your homemade sunshine in a jar!
