  • 400 g papaya, peeled and seeded
  • 350 g sugar
  • 500 g vodka
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Fruit:
Peel the papaya, remove the seeds, and cut the flesh into small pieces. Place these pieces into a large glass jar.
  2. Add Sugar, Vodka & Spice:
Add the sugar, vodka, and the cinnamon stick to the jar. Seal it tightly.
  3. Infuse for 20 Days:
Keep the jar in a cool, shady spot for 20 days. Shake it occasionally to help the sugar fully dissolve.
  4. Strain & Adjust:
After 20 days, remove the cinnamon stick and strain the mixture through a fine sieve into a bowl. Taste the liqueur, and if desired, adjust the sweetness or strength by adding a bit more sugar or vodka.
