Ingredients
- 200 g grapefruit
- 400 g vodka
- 300 g sugar
Instructions
- Prepare the Grapefruit:
Wash the grapefruit well, cut it into pieces, and squeeze out all the juice. Discard the juice as it tends to be very bitter. - Infuse with Sugar and Vodka:
Place the grapefruit pieces into a large glass jar. Add the sugar and vodka, then seal it tightly. Set the jar in the sunlight for 3 weeks, shaking it frequently to help the sugar dissolve fully. - Strain and Adjust:
After 3 weeks, strain the mixture through a fine sieve into a bowl. Taste your liqueur and adjust its sweetness or strength with a bit more sugar or vodka, if desired. - Bottle It:
Pour your finished liqueur into thoroughly sterilized glass bottles and seal them well.
