A kiss — the sweetest habit of love
Homemade Pelargonium Graveolens Liqueur
This delicate and fragrant liqueur brings the scented charm of rose geranium leaves to your glass. With just three ingredients — rose geranium leaves, sugar, and either vodka or rosé wine — the flavors gently infuse over about 20 days in the shade, with regular stirring, producing a subtly floral and sweet spirit.
The result is a light, aromatic liqueur with refreshing herbal notes — a perfect after-dinner digestif, a delicate base for cocktails, or a thoughtful homemade gift.
Ingredients
1 liter of vodka or rosé wine
650 g of brown sugar
30-40 fragrant geranium leaves
Method
Put the leaves from the stem, the sugar and the vodka in a large jar and close it well. Place the jar in a shady place for about 20 days. Shake the jar at regular intervals to dissolve the sugar. Once the sugar has dissolved, strain it with a tulle and put it in bottles. Our drink is ready to enjoy it with good company.
