Ingredients

  • 200 g tamarillo fruits
  • 300 g vodka or rum
  • 150 g sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Fruits:
    Wash the tamarillo fruits thoroughly, cut them into quarters, and place them in a glass jar.
  2. Add Vodka and Sugar:
    Pour the vodka and add the sugar into the jar. Seal the jar tightly and store it in a shaded place for 2 weeks. Shake the jar frequently to help dissolve the sugar.
  3. Strain the Mixture:
    After 2 weeks, strain the contents of the jar through a fine sieve. For an even clearer liqueur, filter it through a coffee filter.
  4. Taste and Adjust:
    Taste the liqueur, and if needed, add more sugar or vodka to adjust the flavor to your preference.
  5. Bottle and Store:
    Transfer the finished liqueur into sterilized glass bottles and seal them tightly.
