Ingredients

  • 20 rambutans
  • 400 g sugar
  • 300 g water
  • 800 g vodka
  • A few drops of lemon juice for aroma

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Rambutans:
Peel the rambutans and place them in a large glass jar.
  2. Add the Liquids and Sugar:
Pour in the sugar, water, and vodka. Leave some space in the jar so you can shake it easily.
  3. Mix and Infuse:
Seal the jar tightly, shake it well to help dissolve the sugar, and store it in a dim or shaded place for 20 days. Shake the jar occasionally during this time.
  4. Strain and Filter:
After 20 days, strain the mixture through a fine sieve and then filter it through a coffee filter. The liqueur may remain slightly cloudy, but that’s perfectly fine.
  5. Adjust and Bottle:
Add a few drops of lemon juice for a delightful aroma, stir well, and then transfer your liqueur into sterilized glass bottles.
