Flatbread Dough
- Ingredients
- 500g all-purpose flour
- 1/2 packet of yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- Warm water
- A few drops of olive oil for each flatbread when cooking
Instructions
- In a bowl, sift the flour, make a well in the center, and add the yeast, salt, vinegar, and sugar.
- Gradually add the warm water, kneading until you get a soft dough.
- Cover with a towel and let the dough rise for 1 hour.
- Divide into 4-5 portions, depending on the size you want for your flatbreads.
- Roll out each flatbread with your hands or a rolling pin, adding a few drops of olive oil to each.
- Cook in a non-stick pan for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden. Keep them warm until ready to serve to maintain elasticity.

- 500g calamari
- 4 medium potatoes
- 10 cherry tomatoes
- 1 onion, sliced
- Lettuce leaves
- Salt
- 200g flour for dredging the calamari
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions For the Calamari
- Clean the calamari and cut it into rings.
- Rinse well, place in a colander, sprinkle with salt, and let it drain.
- In a pan, heat the olive oil over high heat.
- Meanwhile, place the flour and a pinch of salt in a bowl and mix.
- Toss the calamari rings in the flour mixture to coat evenly.
- Once the oil is hot, add the calamari rings in batches and fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
For the Potatoes
- Peel and wash the potatoes, then cut into long, rectangular pieces for frying.
- In a pan, heat the oil over high heat.
- Add the potatoes and fry until golden.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
To Serve Place the flatbreads on plates and add the fried potatoes, calamari, cherry tomatoes, sliced onion, and lettuce leaves on top. Enjoy this delicious combination of crisp flavors!
