Ingredients
- 1 kg sardines
- 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
- Fresh or dried oregano
- Salt
- Pepper
- Sweet paprika

Preparation
- Clean the sardines by removing the scales, heads, and guts.
- Carefully remove the central bone, rinse them well, and allow them to drain.
- Once drained, lay half of the sardines in a baking dish with the skin side down.
- Sprinkle them with salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano, and then “marry” them by placing the remaining sardines on top, skin side up, pairing each one with another.
- Drizzle olive oil over the top and bake at 170-180°C (340-350°F) for 30-35 minutes, adjusting according to your oven.
