Homemade Plum Liqueur
This homemade plum liqueur combines ripe plums, sugar, and vodka in a simple infusion that brings out the fruit’s natural sweetness and aroma. After several days of steeping, the mixture is strained and bottled.
The result is a rich, colorful, and fruity liqueur — perfect served chilled after a meal, shared with friends, or mixed into cocktails.
Ingredients
1 kg of plums
1 kg of sugar
1 liter of vodka or cognac
4-5 cloves
2 cinnamon sticks
Juice of half a lemon
Method
We clean the plums from the peels and the pit.
Place them in a jar and add the sugar, vodka, cloves and cinnamon.
Seal the jar well and leave it in a shady place near the sun for 40-50 days. Every two days we shake it to dissolve the sugar.
Once our drink is ready we add the lemon juice.
Strain it using a tulle and put it in bottles.
