Homemade Cornus mas Liqueur

This homemade Cornus mas liqueur combines ripe Cornus mas (dogwood) fruits, sugar, and cognac or vodka in a sun-infused 40-day infusion. Cinnamon and cloves add a subtle spice.

The result is a complex, aromatic, and fruity liqueur perfect for sipping chilled, sharing after dinner, or adding depth to cocktails.

Ingredients
1 kilo of mature cornus mas
1 kg of sugar
1 liter cognac or vodka
1 cinnamon stick
10 whole cloves

Method
Wash the Cornus mas well and put them in a large glass jar
Add all our ingredients above, mix them a little and close the lid.
Put it in the sun for 40 days and shake it every 2-3 days to dissolve the sugar.
When the 40 days are over we put our drink in glass bottles.
Our drink is ready to enjoy.
