Ingredients for the Fish

  • 1 kg cod
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 2 ripe tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
  • 50 ml water
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Sweet paprika
  • Olive oil

Preparation

  1. Clean the fish, cut it into pieces, rinse, and let it drain.
  2. In a pot, heat the olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic for about 2 minutes.
  3. Add the chopped tomatoes and sauté for another minute.
  4. Finally, add the cod, salt, parsley, pepper, paprika, and water.
  5. Let it simmer over medium heat for 15-20 minutes, adding a little more water if needed.
