Ingredients

  • 1 can of squid
  • 100 g orzo
  • 2 ripe tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 350 ml water
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Sweet paprika
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

Preparation

  1. In a pot, heat the olive oil and sauté the onion and tomatoes.
  2. Open the can of squid, drain the liquid, and add the squid to the pot. Sauté together with the onion and tomatoes for 1 minute.
  3. Add the salt and water, and bring to a boil over high heat.
  4. When the water starts boiling, add the orzo, stir, and cook for about 15-20 minutes. Stir frequently to prevent sticking, adding a little more water if needed.
  5. Once the orzo is cooked, turn off the heat and season with pepper and paprika.
