Ingredients

  • 1 kg vanilla fruits, peeled
  • 250 g sugar
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Fruits
    Wash the vanilla fruits thoroughly and peel them, removing the pits. Chop the fruits into pieces and place them in a bowl. Use an immersion blender to puree the fruit.
  2. Strain the Mixture
    Place a fine sieve over a bowl and strain the fruit puree. Transfer the strained juice to a saucepan.
  3. Cook the Syrup
    Add the sugar and lemon juice to the saucepan. Place it over medium heat and bring it to a boil. Once boiling, let it cook for an additional 15–20 minutes until it reaches a pourable syrup consistency.
  4. Serve and Enjoy
    Use this syrup to enhance your ice cream, toast, breakfast dishes, desserts, or anywhere you love to drizzle syrup.
