Ingredients
- 8 peaches, almost ripe but not overripe
- 500 g water
- 400 g sugar
Instructions
- Prepare the Peaches
Wash the peaches thoroughly and peel them. Cut them in half and remove the pits. If preferred, slice them into quarters or cubes to fit more into jars, or leave them halved. - Make the Syrup
In a pot, combine the water and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely. - Cook the Peaches
Add the peaches to the syrup and simmer for 10-15 minutes, ensuring the fruit remains intact and doesn’t become too soft. - Cool and Store
Transfer the peaches and syrup to a bowl and refrigerate to enjoy chilled.
