Homemade Orange Liqueur

This homemade orange liqueur blends the bright zest of orange peel with sugar and alcohol to create a fragrant and flavorful spirit. Simple to prepare, it’s infused just long enough to extract citrus notes and sweetness.

The result is a smooth, aromatic liqueur that’s refreshing on its own, delightful after a meal, or versatile in cocktails.

Ingredients
5 oranges
700 g of vodka
500 g of sugar
500 g of water
1-2 cinnamon sticks
1 nutmeg

Method
Wash the oranges well and slice into quarters.
Put them in a glass jar and add the vodka and the spices.
Close it well and leave it for 30 days in a shady place.
Shake it every 2-3 days.
After 30 days, we strain it with a tulle and squeeze the oranges inside the tulle because we want their juice.
Boil the sugar with water for 4-5 minutes and let it cool down well
When it is cooled, stir it into the strained mixture, put it in a glass jar and shake it to stir.
Finally pour it in a glass bottle and it is ready.
