Ingredients for Arabic Pita Dough

  • 500 g all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 300 g water
  • 4 tbsp olive oil

Preparation for the Dough

  1. In a bowl, combine the flour, salt, pepper, sesame seeds, and olive oil.
  2. Gradually add the water, kneading until you form a soft, non-sticky dough. Add a little more flour if needed.
  3. Cover the bowl and let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
  4. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  5. Divide the dough into 7 portions, roll each into thin rounds, and place them on the tray.
  6. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and gently press to adhere.
  7. Preheat the oven to 190–200°C (375–390°F) and bake for about 15 minutes, or until they reach your desired crispness.

  4. Add the feta cubes, sprinkle oregano, and drizzle with olive oil.
