Ingredients for the Dough

  • 500 g all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 300 g water
  • 4 tbsp olive oil

Instructions for the Dough

  1. In a bowl, combine the flour, salt, pepper, and olive oil.
  2. Gradually add the water while kneading to form a soft dough that doesn’t stick to your hands. Add a little more flour if needed.
  3. Cover the bowl and let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
  4. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  5. Divide the dough into 7 pieces and roll each piece into thin rounds using a rolling pin. Place them on the tray.
  6. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the top and press lightly to help them stick.
  7. Preheat the oven to 190–200°C (375–390°F). Bake for about 15 minutes, adjusting the time based on your oven and how crispy you prefer the pitas.

  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/2 bell pepper, sliced into rings
  • 2 lettuce leaves, torn into pieces
  • 80 g feta cheese, cubed
  • Salt
  • Oregano
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Wash the lettuce, tomato, and bell pepper thoroughly.
  2. Place the Arabic pita on a plate.
  3. Add the tomato, bell pepper, and lettuce on top of the pita and season with salt.
  4. Finish with feta cheese, oregano, and olive oil. Roll the pita to enjoy.
