Ingredients for the Dough
- 500 g all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 300 g water
- 4 tbsp olive oil
Dough Preparation
- In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, pepper, and olive oil.
- Gradually add the water, kneading until you form a soft, non-sticky dough. Add more flour if needed.
- Cover the bowl and let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Divide the dough into 7 pieces, roll each piece into thin rounds with a rolling pin, and place them on the tray.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and press gently to stick.
- Preheat the oven to 190–200°C (375–390°F) and bake for about 15 minutes, depending on your oven and your preferred crispness.

- 100 g mushrooms
- 2 eggs
- 2 lettuce leaves

- Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and sauté the mushrooms for about 2–3 minutes until they lose excess moisture.
- Add the chopped bacon and continue sautéing for another 2–3 minutes.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with salt and pepper, then pour them into the pan with the mushrooms and bacon.
- Cook the omelette on one side, then flip to cook the other side.
- Place the Arabic pita on a plate and spread the mayonnaise evenly on top.
- Add the omelette and lettuce leaves, then wrap the pita tightly.
