Ingredients

  • 1 medium chicken, cut into portions
  • 200g ditalini pasta
  • 350ml water
  • 3 ripe tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Paprika
  • Olive oil
  • Grated cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. In a pot, heat the olive oil and sauté the chicken until browned. Remove the chicken and set it aside in a bowl.
  2. In the same oil, sauté the onion and garlic. Add the paprika and tomatoes, and cook everything together for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Return the chicken to the pot, add the water and salt, and let it simmer on low heat for 30 minutes.
  4. Add the ditalini pasta and cook until the sauce thickens, adding a bit more water if needed.
  5. Ten minutes before turning off the heat, add the pepper, or sprinkle it on your plate when serving along with grated cheese.
