Ingredients

  • 1 chicken breast
  • Salt for boiling the chicken
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 4-5 slices of turkey ham, cut into pieces
  • 1 hard-boiled egg, diced
  • 100 g kasseri cheese (or any cheese of your choice), cut into cubes
  • 250 g mayonnaise
  • 2-3 tablespoons ketchup or mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 lettuce leaves, chopped
  • Finely chopped parsley
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breast in a pot, add salt, and cover with water.
  2. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 35-40 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
  3. Meanwhile, prepare all the other ingredients by chopping them and placing them in a salad bowl.
  4. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the heat and let it cool slightly.
  5. Shred the chicken into small pieces by hand and add them to the salad bowl.
  6. Finally, add the mayonnaise and mix everything well until the ingredients are fully combined.
