Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt
- Pepper
- Sweet paprika
- Oregano
- 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
Instructions
For the Chicken
- Cut the chicken along the breastbone and make small slits in the wing areas to help it cook evenly since this part is thicker.
- Wash the chicken thoroughly and place it in a colander to drain.
For the Marinade
- In a large bowl, mix all the marinade ingredients well.
- Place the chicken in the bowl with the marinade, ensuring it is fully coated. Let it marinate for 4-5 hours.
Grilling
- Place the marinated chicken on a grill and cook it over charcoal for about 30-35 minutes, turning it every 5 minutes.
- To avoid burning the outside while leaving the inside undercooked, position the grill a little higher above the coals.
