Ingredients
- 500 g country sausage
- 2 green bell peppers
- 1 red bell pepper
- 2 horn-shaped peppers
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 2 ripe tomatoes, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 50 g water
- Oregano
- Salt
- Pepper
- Sweet paprika
- Olive oil
Instructions
- Slice the sausages, onion, and peppers and place them in separate bowls.
- Heat a large pan over medium heat and add 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Sauté the sausages in batches to ensure the pan stays hot and the sausages brown evenly. Remove each batch with a slotted spoon and set aside in a bowl.
- In the same pan, add another 3 tablespoons of olive oil and sauté the peppers until they are browned.
- Once the peppers have some color, add the onion and garlic, and sauté for another 2 minutes.
- Return the sausages to the pan, add the balsamic vinegar, and stir to combine.
- Finally, add the tomatoes, water, oregano, salt, paprika, and pepper.
- Simmer everything for about 8-10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Serve hot and enjoy!
