Ingredients
- 2 kg mutton (thick cuts)
- 2 medium potatoes
- 2 carrots
- 1 zucchini
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- Salt
- Pepper
- Olive oil
- Lemon juice
Instructions
- Wash the meat thoroughly and place it in a large pot.
- Clean and wash the vegetables well.
- Cut the potatoes into quarters, and chop the carrots and zucchini into similar-sized pieces as the potatoes.
- Slice the onion and leave the garlic cloves whole.
- Add all the vegetables to the pot with the meat and cover with water.
- Add salt and olive oil, then cover the pot.
- Boil over medium heat for 1.5 to 2 hours, until the meat is tender.
- You can adjust the amount of broth according to your preference for a thicker or thinner soup.
- When ready, serve hot with freshly ground pepper and lemon juice.
