Ingredients
- 1.5 kg beef
- 500 g pasta
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 4 ripe tomatoes, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 cinnamon stick
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Sweet paprika
Instructions
- Prepare the Beef:
In a pot, heat the olive oil and sauté the beef. Once browned on all sides, remove the meat and place it in a bowl. - Cook the Sauce:
In the same pot, sauté the chopped onions and garlic for 1-2 minutes, then add the tomatoes. Once it starts to simmer, return the beef to the pot, and add the cinnamon stick, salt, pepper, and sweet paprika. Cover the pot, reduce the heat, and let it cook for about 35-40 minutes until all ingredients are tender. Add water if needed. - Cook the Pasta:
In a separate pot, fill halfway with water, add salt, and bring to a boil. Once boiling, add the pasta and stir well to prevent sticking. Cook for about 20 minutes, or until the pasta reaches your desired tenderness. - Finish the Pasta:
Drain the pasta and return it to the pot. In a pan, heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil until hot, then pour it over the pasta and stir to coat.
Serve the pasta topped with the beef and sauce. Enjoy!
