Ingredients for the Beef
- 1 portion of beef
- Salt
- Pepper
- Sweet paprika
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/2 small coffee cup of wine
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 ripe tomato, finely chopped (or 1/2 tablespoon tomato paste)
- 1 tablespoon oil
Instructions for the Beef
- Add 1 tablespoon of oil to a pressure cooker. Add the beef and sauté until browned on all sides.
- Add the onion, garlic, and tomato, and sauté everything together for 2 minutes. Deglaze with wine.
- Add salt and the cinnamon stick, then close the pressure cooker.
- When the meat is fully cooked, open the pressure cooker and add pepper and paprika. Add these spices at the end to retain their aromas.
For the Rice
- 1 small coffee cup of brown rice
- 1 tablespoon grated carrot
- 1 tablespoon oil
- Salt
Instructions for the Rice
- In a small pot, heat the oil. Add the rice and grated carrot, and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add 4 small coffee cups of water and salt. Let it simmer for 20 minutes. Add more water if necessary.
For the Salad
- 5–6 lettuce leaves, finely chopped
- 2 sprigs of dill, finely chopped
- 1 green onion, finely chopped
- Salt
- Lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon oil
- Wash the lettuce thoroughly and chop it into a bowl.
- Add the dill, green onion, a bit of salt, lemon juice, and oil, then mix well.
