Ingredients for the Beef

  • 1 portion of beef
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Sweet paprika
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 small coffee cup of wine
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 ripe tomato, finely chopped (or 1/2 tablespoon tomato paste)
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Instructions for the Beef

  1. Add 1 tablespoon of oil to a pressure cooker. Add the beef and sauté until browned on all sides.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, and tomato, and sauté everything together for 2 minutes. Deglaze with wine.
  3. Add salt and the cinnamon stick, then close the pressure cooker.
  4. When the meat is fully cooked, open the pressure cooker and add pepper and paprika. Add these spices at the end to retain their aromas.

For the Rice

  • 1 small coffee cup of brown rice
  • 1 tablespoon grated carrot
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • Salt

Instructions for the Rice

  1. In a small pot, heat the oil. Add the rice and grated carrot, and sauté for 1 minute.
  2. Add 4 small coffee cups of water and salt. Let it simmer for 20 minutes. Add more water if necessary.

For the Salad

  • 5–6 lettuce leaves, finely chopped
  • 2 sprigs of dill, finely chopped
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped
  • Salt
  • Lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  1. Wash the lettuce thoroughly and chop it into a bowl.
  2. Add the dill, green onion, a bit of salt, lemon juice, and oil, then mix well.
