Ingredients for the Ground Meat
- 100 g ground meat
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- Salt
- Pepper
- Sweet paprika
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- 1/2 small coffee cup of wine
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 ripe tomato, finely chopped (or 1/2 tablespoon tomato paste)
Instructions for the Ground Meat
- In a small pot, heat the oil. Add the onion and garlic and sauté until softened.
- Add the ground meat and the tomato (or tomato paste), and sauté everything together for 2 minutes. Deglaze with wine.
- Add salt, the cinnamon stick, and a small glass of water. Let it simmer on low heat for 35–45 minutes. Add more warm water if needed.
- Five minutes before finishing, add pepper and paprika to retain their aromas.
Ingredients for the Pasta
- 60–70 g whole wheat pasta, uncooked
- 1 teaspoon oil
- 1 tablespoon grated cheese
Instructions for the Pasta
- Bring a pot of water to a boil. Once boiling, add the pasta and cook for 15–20 minutes, depending on your preferred texture.
- Drain the pasta, add 1 teaspoon of oil, and mix well.
- Serve with 3–4 tablespoons of ground meat and 1 tablespoon of grated cheese on top.
