Ingredients

  • 1 kg pork neck, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into large pieces
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into large pieces
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Sweet paprika
  • Oregano
  • 8-10 mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Place the pork pieces in a bowl. Add the pepper pieces and onion quarters to the bowl. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, oregano, and add the olive oil. Mix everything well, then let the mixture marinate for 2-3 hours to let the flavors develop.
  2. Thread the ingredients onto skewers, alternating between pork, pepper, and onion until all ingredients are used.

For Cooking

  1. Heat a grill pan on the stove until it’s very hot. Place the skewers in the pan and cook for about 10-15 minutes on each side, until they’re nicely browned and cooked through.
  2. Once the skewers are cooked, remove them from the pan. Add the mushrooms to the same pan, letting them absorb the meat’s flavors. Grill the mushrooms for 1 minute on each side—just enough to keep their moisture.
