Ingredients
- 1 kg flour
- 1 packet dry yeast
- 400 g water
- 200 g warm water (for the yeast)
- A pinch of salt
- 30 g oil
- 100 g raisins
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough:
In a bowl, add the flour and make a well in the center. Pour the oil, salt, and the warm water with the dissolved yeast into the well. - Mix and Knead:
Gradually add the remaining water while kneading until you have a soft dough that doesn’t stick to your hands. - Add the Raisins:
Flatten the dough slightly with your hands, sprinkle the raisins over it, and knead briefly to distribute the raisins evenly throughout the dough. - Let It Rise:
Place the dough in a greased baking pan. Cover it and let it rest and rise for about half an hour or longer until it doubles in size. - Bake:
Preheat your oven to 170–180°C (338–356°F). Bake the bread until it turns a beautiful golden-brown color. - Cool and Serve:
Once baked, remove the bread from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.
