Ingredients:

  • 300g oat flour
  • 200g all-purpose flour
  • 250g lukewarm water
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 packet (7g) dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, place the flour. Create a well in the center, add the yeast and a little lukewarm water, and let it sit for 20 minutes to activate the yeast.
  2. Gradually add the salt and the remaining lukewarm water while kneading the mixture until you achieve a soft, non-sticky dough.
  3. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Divide the dough into small balls, shape them into rounds, and brush each ball lightly with olive oil on both sides.
  4. Place the dough balls on the prepared tray. Cover the tray with a clean kitchen towel and leave it in a warm place for 30 minutes to rise.
  5. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F). Bake the dough balls for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown, depending on your oven.

This homemade oat flour bread is perfect for adding a wholesome and rustic touch to your meals. It’s easy to make, delicious, and pairs wonderfully with soups, salads, or even on its own. Enjoy the aroma of freshly baked bread filling your home!
