- 150 g almonds
- 50 g raisins
- 4 heaping tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- Toast the sesame seeds and almonds separately, then set them aside to cool.
- In a pan over medium heat, melt the sugar until it forms a caramel.
- Add the butter, and once melted, stir in the honey.
- When the caramel mixture has thinned, add the toasted sesame seeds, almonds, cranberries, and raisins. Stir well until all the ingredients are evenly coated.
- Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it out evenly.
- Use a knife to score the mixture into pieces and let it cool completely.
- Once cooled, store the brittle in a glass container.
