- 300 g ground beef
- 800 g leeks, finely chopped
- 2 carrots, grated
- 2 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 bunch dill, finely chopped
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 3 eggs
- Salt
- Pepper
- Olive oil
- 200 g melting cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180–190°C (356–374°F). Grease your baking dish generously with olive oil and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat and sauté the ground beef until browned.
- Add the onion, garlic, and tomato paste. Sauté everything together for 2–3 minutes, then cook for another 10 minutes.
- Stir in the carrots, potatoes, leeks, dill, salt, and pepper. Mix well, cover the pot, and cook for another 10 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool for about 10 minutes. Transfer it to the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30–35 minutes, or until the cheese turns golden and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, let it rest for a few minutes, and serve warm.
