Ingredients for the Dough
- 500 g all-purpose flour
- 250 g lukewarm milk
- 220 g butter, melted but not hot
- 1 packet (7 g) dry yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
Ingredients for the Toppings
- Tomato sauce
- Ham
- Melting cheese
- Optional: any other toppings of your choice
Instructions
- Prepare the Baking Tray
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set aside. - Make the Dough
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and yeast. Mix well.
Create a well in the center of the flour mixture and gradually pour in the melted butter and milk, mixing as you go.
Knead the mixture until you have a soft, non-sticky dough. Cover the bowl with a towel and let it rise in a warm place for about 2 hours, or until it doubles in size. - Shape the Dough
Once the dough has risen, lightly knead it on a floured surface to release any air. Roll it out to a thickness of 5–6 mm.
Use a small bowl or cookie cutter to cut the dough into circles.
Gather the scraps, re-roll the dough, and cut out more circles until all the dough is used. - Add the Toppings
Place the dough circles onto the prepared baking tray. Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce on each, and top with ham, cheese, or any other desired toppings. - Bake
Preheat the oven to 180–190°C (356–374°F).
Bake the mini pizzas for 11–12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the edges are golden brown.
