Ingredients for the Shrimp

  • 500g shrimp
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced into rings
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced into rings
  • 3 ripe tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 4-5 mushrooms, sliced
  • 50ml water
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Sweet paprika
  • 1 bunch parsley or basil, finely chopped
  • Olive oil

Shrimp Preparation

  1. In a pot, heat olive oil and sauté the onion, bell peppers, and mushrooms.
  2. Add the tomatoes, water, pepper, and paprika, and cook for about 10 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  3. Finally, add the shrimp and chopped parsley, stirring well, and cook everything together for an additional 5 minutes.

  • 250g long-grain rice
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 550ml water
  • Salt
  • Olive oil

Rice Preparation

  1. In a pot, heat olive oil and sauté the chopped onion until soft.
  2. Add the rice, water, and salt, stirring well.
  3. Let it cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes until the rice is tender. If you prefer the rice softer, add a bit more water as needed.
