Ingredients for the Patty

  • 150g ground beef
  • Salt
  • Pepper

For the Burger

  • 2 slices of cheese
  • 2 slices of turkey
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise

Patty Preparation

  1. In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt and pepper.
  2. Shape it into a patty and cook it in hot olive oil in a skillet.
  3. Press the patty down with a spatula to make it thinner, cooking until it’s browned on both sides.

Burger Assembly

  1. Cut the bun in half.
  2. Layer the patty, mayonnaise, cheese, and turkey slices, then close the burger.
  3. Serve with a side of chutney sauce.

Burger Buns

Ingredients

  • 300g all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 140g lukewarm water
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 packet of yeast
  • A pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix the lukewarm water, yeast, and sugar, allowing it to rest for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the olive oil and egg, stirring to combine.
  4. Gradually add the salt and flour, kneading until you have a non-sticky dough. If needed, add a little extra flour.
  5. Divide the dough into four equal portions and place them on the lined baking sheet.
  6. Cover with a towel and let them rest for 15 minutes.
  7. Finally, beat an egg yolk with a little milk and brush it over the buns. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 190-200°C (374-392°F) for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
