Ingredients for the Patty
- 150g ground beef
- Salt
- Pepper
For the Burger
- 2 slices of cheese
- 2 slices of turkey
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
Patty Preparation
- In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt and pepper.
- Shape it into a patty and cook it in hot olive oil in a skillet.
- Press the patty down with a spatula to make it thinner, cooking until it’s browned on both sides.
Burger Assembly
- Cut the bun in half.
- Layer the patty, mayonnaise, cheese, and turkey slices, then close the burger.
- Serve with a side of chutney sauce.
Burger Buns
Ingredients
- 300g all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 140g lukewarm water
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 packet of yeast
- A pinch of salt
Preparation
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
- In a bowl, mix the lukewarm water, yeast, and sugar, allowing it to rest for 5 minutes.
- Add the olive oil and egg, stirring to combine.
- Gradually add the salt and flour, kneading until you have a non-sticky dough. If needed, add a little extra flour.
- Divide the dough into four equal portions and place them on the lined baking sheet.
- Cover with a towel and let them rest for 15 minutes.
- Finally, beat an egg yolk with a little milk and brush it over the buns. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 190-200°C (374-392°F) for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
