
Ingredients for the patty:
150 g ground beef
Salt
Pepper
For the burger:
2 slices of cheese
2 slices of turkey
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
Instructions for the patty:
In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt and pepper.
Shape the meat into a patty and fry it in hot olive oil.
Press the patty with a spatula to make it thin, and fry it until it gets a nice color on both sides.
For the burger:
Cut the burger bun in half.
Place the patty, mayonnaise, cheese, and turkey on the bun, and close it to form the burger.
Serve with chutney sauce on the side.
Burger Buns
Ingredients:
300 g all-purpose flour
1 egg
1 tablespoon sugar
140 g lukewarm water
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 packet yeast
A pinch of salt
Instructions:
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set it aside.
In a bowl, mix the lukewarm water, yeast, and sugar, and let them rest for 5 minutes.
Add the olive oil and egg to the mixture and stir until combined.
Gradually add the salt and flour, kneading until you have a dough that doesn’t stick to your hands. If necessary, add a little more flour.
Once the dough is ready, divide it into four equal pieces and place them on the prepared baking tray.
Cover the buns with a kitchen towel and let them rise for 15 minutes.
Finally, beat the egg yolk with some milk and brush it over the buns.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake in a preheated oven at 190-200°C (374-392°F) for 12-15 minutes, until the buns turn a nice dark golden color.
