- A pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 sachet dry yeast dissolved in a cup of lukewarm water
- Water, as needed
Instructions:
- Prepare the Dough:
- Place the flour in a large mixing bowl and make a well in the center.
- In 100g of lukewarm water, dissolve the yeast with the sugar and pour it into the well.
- Let the mixture sit undisturbed for 1 hour until the yeast activates (you will notice bubbles forming).
- Combine the Ingredients:
- Add the chopped sun-dried tomatoes, cheese, salt, and olive oil to the flour mixture.
- Gradually add water while kneading until a soft, non-sticky dough forms.
- Shape the Bread:
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper and lightly sprinkle it with flour.
- Divide the dough into two equal portions, shape them into loaves, and place them on the prepared tray.
- Cover the loaves with a light cloth and let them rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- Bake:
- Preheat the oven to 180–190°C (350–375°F).
- Bake the loaves for 50–55 minutes, or until they develop a golden-brown crust.
- Cool the Bread:
- Once out of the oven, place the loaves on a clean kitchen towel, cover them, and let them cool completely before slicing.
