Ingredients:
- 400g flour
- 200g strained yogurt
- 250g butter (room temperature, cut into cubes)
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- A pinch of salt
- 200g grated feta cheese
- 250g grated graviera cheese
For Topping:
- 1 egg
- 1 sachet sesame seeds
Instructions:
- Prepare the Dough:
- In a large bowl, combine the yogurt, egg, baking powder, salt, sugar, and butter.
- Mix briefly using a mixer with dough hooks until the ingredients are blended.
- Gradually add the cheeses and the flour, kneading gently until a soft dough forms.
- Shape the Buns:
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Roll the dough into small balls and place them on the tray.
- Prepare for Baking:
- In one bowl, lightly beat the egg. In another bowl, place the sesame seeds.
- Brush the tops of the buns with the beaten egg, then dip them into the sesame seeds.
- Arrange the buns back on the tray.
- Bake:
- Preheat the oven to 180–190°C (depending on your oven).
- Bake the buns for 25–30 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
