Ingredients:

  • 400g flour
  • 200g strained yogurt
  • 250g butter (room temperature, cut into cubes)
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • 200g grated feta cheese
  • 250g grated graviera cheese

For Topping:

  • 1 egg
  • 1 sachet sesame seeds

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Dough:
    • In a large bowl, combine the yogurt, egg, baking powder, salt, sugar, and butter.
    • Mix briefly using a mixer with dough hooks until the ingredients are blended.
    • Gradually add the cheeses and the flour, kneading gently until a soft dough forms.
  2. Shape the Buns:
    • Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
    • Roll the dough into small balls and place them on the tray.
  3. Prepare for Baking:
    • In one bowl, lightly beat the egg. In another bowl, place the sesame seeds.
    • Brush the tops of the buns with the beaten egg, then dip them into the sesame seeds.
    • Arrange the buns back on the tray.
  4. Bake:
    • Preheat the oven to 180–190°C (depending on your oven).
    • Bake the buns for 25–30 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
