Ingredients
- 1 bonito, sliced
- 3-4 tablespoons mustard
- 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- Salt
- Pepper
- Sweet paprika
- Oregano
- 80-90 ml water
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
Preparation
- Clean the fish thoroughly, slice it, rinse well, and place it in a strainer to drain.
- In a wide pot, heat the olive oil and lightly sauté the fish on both sides.
- Add the garlic, sautéing it for about 1 minute, taking care not to let it burn and become bitter.
- Add the water, salt, paprika, and pepper, and simmer over medium heat for 10-15 minutes.
- Finally, add the mustard and let the sauce simmer for an additional 5 minutes to thicken. If more liquid is needed, add a bit of water.
- When the sauce reaches the desired consistency, add the oregano and turn off the heat.
