Ingredients for the Meatballs
- 500 g ground beef
- 4-5 slices of bread, soaked and squeezed
- Salt
- Pepper
- Oregano
- Finely chopped parsley
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- A pinch of cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 1 small bunch of parsley, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions for the Meatballs
- In a bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix well. Let the mixture rest in the refrigerator for 2 hours to allow the flavors to blend.
- After chilling, knead the mixture again briefly, shape the meatballs to your desired size, and place them on a plate.
Ingredients for the Potatoes
- 4 potatoes
- Salt
- Pepper
- Paprika
- Oregano
- 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Olive oil
- 100 g water
Instructions for the Potatoes
- Peel and wash the potatoes, then cut them into medium-sized pieces.
- Place the potatoes in a baking dish and add the remaining ingredients. Toss to coat the potatoes evenly with the seasoning.
- Arrange the meatballs in between the potatoes or on top if there isn’t enough space.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
- Place the baking dish in the oven, reduce the temperature to 170-180°C (340-355°F), and bake for about 40-45 minutes, depending on your oven.
