- 100 g bean broth (from the cooked beans)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- Juice of half a lemon

Instructions
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan and lightly sauté the onion and garlic. Set aside.
- In a bowl, combine the cooked beans, salt, pepper, lemon juice, remaining olive oil, and the sautéed onion and garlic.
- Use an immersion blender or a regular blender to purée the mixture until smooth.
- If the purée is too thick, gradually add some of the reserved bean broth until you reach the desired consistency.
