- 100 g olive oil
- 200 g orange juice
- 100 g sugar
- ½ tsp ground cloves
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 100 g sesame seeds
- 500 g self-rising flour
Instructions
- Prepare the Tray:
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set it aside. - Mix Wet Ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, ground cloves, cinnamon, grape molasses, sugar, and salt. Whisk with a hand whisk until the sugar dissolves. - Add Dry Ingredients:
Dissolve the baking soda in the orange juice and add it to the mixture. Gradually incorporate the flour, mixing with a spoon at first, then knead gently by hand until you have a soft dough. - Shape the Cookies:
Divide the dough into 50 g portions, shape them as desired, and place them on the prepared baking tray. - Add Sesame Seeds:
Sprinkle the cookies with sesame seeds. - Bake:
Preheat the oven to 170-180°C (340-355°F). Bake the cookies for 15-18 minutes, or until lightly golden, depending on your oven.
