Ingredients

  • 250g shrimp
  • 250g mussels
  • 250g flour
  • 150ml water
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 30g ouzo
  • 1 bunch dill, finely chopped
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the flour, ouzo, baking soda, pepper, and salt.
  2. Gradually add the water, stirring continuously until you have a smooth batter that is neither too thick nor too runny.
  3. Add the dill, shrimp, and mussels to the batter, mixing well, then let the mixture rest briefly.
  4. Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Once the oil is hot, drop spoonfuls of the batter into the pan.
  6. Fry the fritters on both sides until they turn a beautiful golden color.
