Ingredients

  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 100 g breadcrumbs
  • 100 g boiled beans
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Oregano
  • 2 tbsp parsley or mint, finely chopped
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Baking Tray:
    Lightly grease a baking tray with olive oil and set it aside.
  2. Prepare the Mushrooms:
    Clean the mushrooms (do not wash them) and slice them thinly.
  3. Sauté the Ingredients:
    Heat some olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté the onion, garlic, and mushrooms. Add the salt, pepper, oregano, and parsley. Cook until most of the liquid has evaporated. Toward the end, add the boiled beans, mix well, turn off the heat, and let the mixture cool slightly.
  4. Blend the Mixture:
    Place the cooked mixture into a blender and pulse lightly until combined but not overly smooth.
  5. Form the Patties:
    Transfer the blended mixture to a bowl, add the breadcrumbs, and mix with a spoon. Shape the mixture into small meatball-sized portions or larger patties. Place them on the greased baking tray.
  6. Bake the Patties:
    Preheat the oven to 190-200°C (375-400°F). Bake the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
