Ingredients (Serves 2)
- For the Potatoes:
- 4 medium potatoes
- Salt
- For the Sauce:
- 4–5 tbsp mayonnaise
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tsp paprika
- Black pepper
- A pinch of turmeric
Instructions
For the Sauce:
- In a bowl, combine the olive oil, paprika, water, mayonnaise, black pepper, and turmeric.
- Mix well until all the ingredients are fully blended and set aside.
For the Potatoes:
- Wash the potatoes thoroughly and pierce them in 2–3 spots with a fork.
- Place the potatoes in a pot with their skins on, cover them with water, and boil over medium heat.
- Once the water starts to boil, cook the potatoes for about 10 minutes. Turn off the heat and let them cool slightly.
- Note: The potatoes should not be overcooked, as they might become too soft and difficult to slice.
- Slice the potatoes into rounds and arrange them on a platter. Sprinkle with salt and drizzle the prepared sauce over them.
- Place the potato slices on a grill and cook until golden. Flip them to cook the other side evenly.
- Once done, serve the potatoes on plates and drizzle any remaining sauce from the platter on top.
