Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • For the Potatoes:
    • 4 medium potatoes
    • Salt
  • For the Sauce:
    • 4–5 tbsp mayonnaise
    • 4 tbsp olive oil
    • 2 tbsp water
    • 1 tsp paprika
    • Black pepper
    • A pinch of turmeric

Instructions

For the Sauce:

  1. In a bowl, combine the olive oil, paprika, water, mayonnaise, black pepper, and turmeric.
  2. Mix well until all the ingredients are fully blended and set aside.

For the Potatoes:

  1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly and pierce them in 2–3 spots with a fork.
  2. Place the potatoes in a pot with their skins on, cover them with water, and boil over medium heat.
  3. Once the water starts to boil, cook the potatoes for about 10 minutes. Turn off the heat and let them cool slightly.
    • Note: The potatoes should not be overcooked, as they might become too soft and difficult to slice.
  4. Slice the potatoes into rounds and arrange them on a platter. Sprinkle with salt and drizzle the prepared sauce over them.
  5. Place the potato slices on a grill and cook until golden. Flip them to cook the other side evenly.
  6. Once done, serve the potatoes on plates and drizzle any remaining sauce from the platter on top.
