Ingredients

  • 1 kg peppers
  • 2 onions, sliced into rings
  • Salt
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Peppers and Onions:
    Wash the peppers, pierce each one once with a fork, and place them on paper towels to dry. Peel the onions and slice them into rings.
  2. Fry the Peppers:
    Heat olive oil in a large frying pan. Add the peppers and fry them for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn golden. Cover the pan with a lid while frying to prevent the oil from splattering. Remove the peppers and place them on a serving platter.
  3. Sauté the Onions:
    In the same pan with the hot olive oil, add the onion rings and sauté them for 3-4 minutes until they soften slightly. Use a slotted spoon to remove the onions and place them on top of the peppers.
  4. Season:
    Sprinkle salt over the peppers and onions before serving.
