Ingredients for the Patties

  • 400 g ground beef
  • 5-6 tablespoons oats
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1/2 bunch parsley, finely chopped
  • Oregano
  • 1 egg
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

For the Vegetables

  • 10 broccoli florets
  • 2 large onions, quartered
  • 2 potatoes
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine all ingredients for the patties and knead until well mixed.
  2. Cover the bowl and let the mixture rest in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  3. Shape the mixture into patties and place them on a baking tray.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180-190°C (350-375°F) until browned on both sides, or grill them if preferred.

For the Vegetables

  1. Wash the broccoli thoroughly.
  2. Peel and wash the onions and potatoes.
  3. In a pot, bring water with salt to a boil, add the potatoes, and cook over medium heat.
  4. Once the water starts boiling, cook the potatoes alone for about 8 minutes, then add the onions and broccoli.
  5. Continue boiling everything together for an additional 8 minutes, then remove from heat.
  6. If you prefer softer vegetables, let them sit in the hot water for another 5 minutes. Otherwise, use a slotted spoon to transfer them to a bowl.
