Ingredients for the Patties
- 400 g ground beef
- 5-6 tablespoons oats
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1/2 bunch parsley, finely chopped
- Oregano
- 1 egg
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
For the Vegetables
- 10 broccoli florets
- 2 large onions, quartered
- 2 potatoes
- Salt
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine all ingredients for the patties and knead until well mixed.
- Cover the bowl and let the mixture rest in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Shape the mixture into patties and place them on a baking tray.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180-190°C (350-375°F) until browned on both sides, or grill them if preferred.
For the Vegetables
- Wash the broccoli thoroughly.
- Peel and wash the onions and potatoes.
- In a pot, bring water with salt to a boil, add the potatoes, and cook over medium heat.
- Once the water starts boiling, cook the potatoes alone for about 8 minutes, then add the onions and broccoli.
- Continue boiling everything together for an additional 8 minutes, then remove from heat.
- If you prefer softer vegetables, let them sit in the hot water for another 5 minutes. Otherwise, use a slotted spoon to transfer them to a bowl.
