Ingredients

  • 10 peppers
  • 100 g feta cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tomatoes, blended into a purée
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash the peppers thoroughly, cut off the stems, and remove the seeds.
  2. In a bowl, combine the tomato purée, garlic, egg, feta cheese, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Stuff the peppers with the mixture and close them with their stems.
  4. Arrange the stuffed peppers neatly in a baking dish. Drizzle them with olive oil. If there is any leftover filling, pour it between the peppers.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180–190°C (350–375°F) for approximately 30 minutes, until the peppers are golden and the juices have reduced, leaving only the oil.
