History
The Singapore Sling, a classic cocktail with tropical flair, was created in 1915 by Ngiam Tong Boon, a bartender at the iconic Raffles Hotel in Singapore. Originally crafted as a ladies’ drink, the cocktail’s vibrant pink color and fruity flavor masked its robust alcohol content, making it an elegant choice for social settings. Over time, the Singapore Sling has become synonymous with luxury and exotic escapes.
