Ingredients:

  • 2 square slices of feta cheese
  • 2 sheets of phyllo pastry
  • Sesame seeds
  • Olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Phyllo and Feta:
    Lay the phyllo sheets flat on your countertop.
    Place one piece of feta cheese on each sheet.
  2. Fold the Phyllo:
    Fold the excess phyllo edges over the feta, then wrap it up like an envelope.
  3. Add Olive Oil and Sesame:
    Brush the outer side of the phyllo envelope with olive oil using a pastry brush.
    Sprinkle sesame seeds evenly over the top.
  4. Cook the Saganaki:
    Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
    Fry the phyllo-wrapped feta on both sides until golden and crispy.
  5. Serve Hot:
    Remove from the pan and serve immediately for the best taste.
