Pork chops seared golden mingle with earthy mushrooms, garlic, onion, and sweet bell pepper, while tender kale whispers green freshness beneath. In the heart of this rustic dish, juicy meat meets vivid vegetables—creating comfort and bold flavor in every bite.
Ingredients for the Pork Chops:
- 2 pork chops
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 5-6 mushrooms, sliced
- 50g wine
- 50g water
- 1 bunch parsley
- 2–3 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Sweet paprika
Instructions for the Pork Chops: In a deep pan, heat the olive oil and sauté the pork chops on both sides until browned. Remove them and set aside on a plate. In the same oil, add the onion, garlic, and peppers, sauté, then add the mushrooms. Return the pork chops to the pan, season with salt, and deglaze with the wine. Add the water, cover the pan, and let it simmer for 30 minutes. Five minutes before turning off the heat, add the pepper, sweet paprika, and parsley to preserve their aromas. Add more water if necessary.
Ingredients for the Kale:
- 1 kg kale
- Salt
- Olive oil
Instructions for the Kale: Clean the kale thoroughly and soak it in plenty of water with vinegar for 10 minutes to remove any insects. Then rinse it well. In a pot, fill halfway with water and bring it to a boil over high heat. Add the kale to the boiling water, season with salt, and cook it until it reaches your desired tenderness. Once ready, place the desired amount on a plate and drizzle with olive oil.
